What/Who is The Jalebi Girl?

I am a girl obsessed with bollywood movies, and my favourite sweet is Jalebi.

Obsessed means, after watching a bollywood movie I will do my own background research about the movie, and watch youtube videos of their promos, interviews and most importantly find saucy goss about the film. I am not a film critic. I am very selective on what movies I want to watch. So this is not a bollywood movie review blog. These are just thoughts and goss I want to share to whoever that enjoys 'binge-watch'-ing on bollywood movies.

Bollywood movie,to me,is a fantasy. I enjoy the whole love triangle, their too-many exaggerated expressions, the songs and dance attached to the movie and the exotic location shoots. I don't mind paying $12 to watch it on GV or Carnival Cinemas.

That $12 equals to 3 hours of my life watching Salman Khan's belt, dancing by itself on Dabangg or Shah Rukh Khan putting on a fake moustache as a disguise, so that his wife won't recognise him in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, or Karan Johar telling us that tomboys are always second best in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

I actually like the whole idea of Boy meets girl, boy runs to catch a glimpse of girl, slow mo to the boy jumps into the water, and then their eyes locked, and they smirk, and then the girl ask the boy to leave, the boy obliged, eyes still locked to each other.....

That itself is my happy pill. (I just described a scene from Dhadak, my current obsession)

The song is so sensuous. I died.

So this will be a blog of thoughts. Nothing fancy. No clever review. Just plain Thoughts. Or Goss. Like who can play it better, discuss. Conversations like that. We agree to disagree. No hate. Just obsession and perhaps a sprinkle of wit, if i have some.
